Counting down

Its near the end of the day, so I have only a couple of days left at this job. In my job search, this has been a very productive week. After contacting many in my network of contacts and customers, I now have a face to face interview tomorrow, a phone interview Monday, and there are signs that a new position may be made available internally.
Thanks to God, I have been very upbeat when talking to people. I have talked to so many customers who are not hiring because of the uncertainty in the economy. It will be the end of the year before most of them starting thinking about adding to their staffs. And then it will depend on the economy.
Again, my trust is in he Lord. It is so good to see how He is working in this whole situation. Without that assurance, it would be so easy to sink into dispair at times like this. But I am holding on to the promise of Romans 8:28.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
