About Me
I am a 60 year old believer in Christ that some of my friends call a computer geek. I do work in the industry, providing pre-sales technical support for resellers of enterprise-level solutions, so I don’t mind. I’m certainly no PC expert but do all right with them.
I am also involved in a house church fellowship in the Phoenix, Arizona area. I left the institutional church in 2003 and started meeting with some other believers at home. More about the house church movement can be found on the website I maintain http://www.phoenixhousechurch.org . My goal is for this website to be a gathering place for the house churches in the area to network.
Most of my posts will be around experiences in the house church movement. The name I chose, Desert Streams, describes how I see streams of living water flowing from the house churches in the city to the dry and dusty desert, as the Holy Spirit endwells the people of God.

You think you lead because you are the oldest?
You are not a leader, you are a follower to be sure. You do what ever you can to avoid and hide from the things are real leader would take charge of.
You think commanding and telling people they are unbiblical is leadership, man you don’t have a clue.
I tell you my experience with the house church has been a buch of hypocrites talk talk talk, no action allot of finger waving and the same spiritual abuse that happens in the IC.
You are no different then the IC are at all, the livingroom means very little when you still think like an IC master.

What’s an IC??????? And don’t listen to that “just looking” guy he doesn’t know what he’s talking about after all he’s still “just looking” right? I like this web site I thank you for it. And one more thing…… if Mr. just looking over there doesn’t like people belly aching then how come he’s belly aching and not doing a better job himself? Why don’t you show us how to lead Mr just looking…….. he forgets we are ALL still human and not perfect……. other wise Mr Just Looking would be Jesus…..right? We all do the best we can God will deal with each of us in His own way. Having said that……. Peace and love to you Mr Just Looking …….

IC is short for “institutional church” to distinguish it from HC or “house or home church”.
I know who Just Looking is and I have tried to reason with him online but finally determined that it is a waste of my time and serves no purpose. I have offered to meet him in person to discuss our differences but he just ignores those suggestions. Because of his comments I had to resort to moderating every comment before it actually gets posted on line.
